This is definitely signal!

Isn’t that how we all visualize music?

Antoine Valot 11 Apr 08

meh.

Sadly or not, since Guitar Hero, I do visualize all music this way.

Reminds me a lot of Chemical Brother’s “Star Guitar”, by Michel Gondry. That man is a genius. See here: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x26gg0_chemical-brothers-star-guitar-miche_music, and you can find more of his work on you tube when you search for his name.

Forgot to mention that there is a great making of video (for the Star Guitar) here: http://www.broadcaster.com/clip/6143

It would have been neater if the written music matched up with the music in the background.

@will—it does. It’s just one part (violin it sounds like). The tremolos and runs are perfectly in sync with the vid for me.

Thanks for posting, very cool video. On a similar note I’m reminded of the music animation machine: http://www.musanim.com/

Pretty neat way of visualizing music in a linear scrolling graph.

My first thought was that Chuck Jones could have created it.

This is just a clever rip off of mario paint. Now I defy you to deny this genius.
