Join me for a three-hour workshop on web-app design in London on April 17th. I’m giving the workshop once in the morning and again in the afternoon.
We’ll take an in-depth look at my design process. In particular, we’ll discuss specific UI techniques and pitfalls along with best practices for collaboration among designers and developers. I’ll present individual techniques against the wider backdrop of “What really matters” to make software that people love.
I hope to take a lot of questions and learn a lot from the attendees as well, so bring your thoughts and experience!

Hmm, I won’t be able to make it to the workshop, but I do hope the FOWD DVD will be available for purchase, somewhere.

I took a quick look at the web site https://secure.carsonsystems.com/event/3/public/booking and it looks like the cd will be available April 27th for 85 pounds. It’s pretty nice that this will be available for those of us unable to attend.

Maybe the attendees should also charge £395 if the presenters are going to be learning from the attendees ?!

I must admit, for students the cost might be quite substantial. There are not many university students that could afford such a high price, seeing as their are the future of the industry.

No JSTR – it’s no whiny trolling – it’s called an opinion my friend – like it or lump it. I was just curious as to why a 2-way flow of information would only cost 1 of the parties.
