Having been to one of their shows, I can say that this is representative. Jon Spencer seems to be the one who’s having the best time of anyone in the place.
Flavor even has a great Beck cameo, before mopey Scientologist Beck took over.

When they opened for Jesus Lizard in 93 at CBGB Jon Spencer started the show by running from the back of the (very shallow) stage and JUMPING OVER THE DRUM KIT . He hit the first chord pretty much when he hit the ground.
Funny stuff: I went back home to visit my family in New York. My aunt and uncle offered to take me to a show…and I thought of it as some sort of “go hang with the grownups” deal. It was ‘98 I think, and they took me to see The Blues Explosion. I was floored…they rip. Thanks for bringing them back to the surface.
Hey…have you guys checked out Rosehill Drive yet? Boulder band: they are unreal live. If they come around, GO!

Huge.
Funny to see that the show is from the best french TV emission from the 90’s called “Nulle part ailleurs” (translate it with “Nowhere else” :-)
Thanks
