Crash Ballet: The winners

22 Oct 2004 by Jason Fried

Coudal has announced the winners of their one two-day contest to take NASA airplane crash footage and set it to music. The winner, Ethan Mitchell, took home a Jewelboxing 20-pack. Congrats Ethan! BTW: Apologies in advance to anyone getting on a plane in the next few days.

Some great work there. The music on Ethan Mitchell's is awesome, I'd really like to know who it is?

It's a heavily modified version (dj mix of some sort) of Interpol's "Untitled" from Turn on the Bright Lights. And by heavily I mean a right butchering of a great song.

What was the music used in Steve Delahoyde's submission? Sounds like something Radiohead might do, but I haven't bought a new one since OK Computer (I know, I'm a slacker).

Thanks for the praise Stuart. You're right Scott, the music is a Velapene Screen Remix of Interpol's "Untitled."

Thanks Scott and Ethan! Not much chance of me tracking that down, but at least I know what I'm looking for now.
