The Private Launch is on. Those who have been included should check their inbox every 30 seconds for that golden ticket. Emails will be trickling out over the next few days.

In the meantime, we’d also like to announce the launch of the Everything Basecamp support blog/site. This is where we’ll keep all the FAQs, how-to’s, tips & tricks, articles, buzz, etc. A lot of it may not make sense to you until you use Basecamp, but feel free to look around and begin to get acquainted. There may be some hints in there.

The Public Launch is just around the corner. Stay tuned to this site and Everything Basecamp for the official announcement. Thanks for your patience and valuable feedback thus far. Here we go…

Just curious, what do you use to send out your mass emailings? Is it an off-the-shelf application/service or a homemade script? If a script, what language (and would you care to share the source?)

Back to the topic: I hope I have a golden ticket coming!

We use the web-based Topica. It's about $25/month or so. We're really happy with it.

"Everything Basecamp"

Did you base the name on Six Apart's Typepad support blog, "Everything Typepad!"? If Basecamp is as well designed as Typepad/MT, we're in for a treat!

Everything Basecamp is the official name (kudos to Six Apart for thinking of the "Everything" concept -- it's a great label), but each time you reload you'll see a different "title" next to the big Basecamp logo in the upper left.

Hey, you ripped us off! :)

Seriously, anybody who's using a blog to keep in touch with their customers is more than cool with us. And congrats on the private launch!

Bummer. No golden ticket. Well, I hate that movie anyhow. Maybe I'll be in that second round...

Can't wait!

Problem with the Everything Basecamp site: if you increase the font size in Safari some text in the header gets pushed out and disappears.

Golden tickets still going out. Hang tight.

Looks pretty cool guys, I'm sure I'm going to have some feedback... perhaps a feedback blog for users who've signed up at the support site?

Please send feedback to us directly at this time.

Shortly we'll add an open-comment "Feature requests" section to the Everything Basecamp site so you can leave ideas there.

Whoo hooo! Got an invite. And, me likes. A lot. Very useful. "Plus Plan" upgrade here I come.

Hey 37, we can post screenshots of the Basecamp UI on our own blogs/sites?
